Students completing this course will gain the skills and knowledge required to establish, maintain and facilitate the provision of appropriate first aid in the workplace.
The unit applies to workers in nominated occupational first aid or management roles.

This course is offered as a face-to-face course. Pre-course learning is required.
Face to Face minimum duration is 4 hours.
There are no formal prerequisite units required for entry into this course. Learners will require English language, literacy, and numeracy (LLN) skills.
Face to face training consists of theory presentations and range of practical learning activities and scenarios.
Assessment activities will include a knowledge test and practical assessments including completion of documentation and reporting requirements. Students will also complete scenarios in a simulated environment.
