Provide First Aid

Our Provide First Aid course is flexible delivery and comprises a pre-study component followed by a 6-7hr in-class practical course:

The pre-study consists of 140 MCQs which can be done online or a hardcopy workbook and on average takes 1-2hrs to complete. 95% of students and instructors prefer the online method as it’s convenient and cost efficient.

No prerequisite for this course. For courses in 2017, achievements will not appear via the USI scheme unless a USI is provided to the instructor. See www.usi.gov.au

HLTAID001: Provide Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation

These units appear on your Apply First Aid Statement of Attainment

CPR

Our CPR course is a 2hr practical course (no pre-study) and includes defib (AED) training as standard.
CPR can be conducted as a stand-alone course and is also part of our Provide First Aid Course.

No prerequisite for this course. For courses in 2017, achievements will not appear via the USI scheme unless a USI is provided to the instructor. See www.usi.gov.au
CPR Statements of Attainment are issued same day and are renewable annually.

This unit appears on your CPR Statement of Attainment
GPs can complete our course and be awarded CPD points for the QA&CPD program.

Advanced Resuscitation Techniques

Our Advanced Resuscitation Techniques course is a 4hr practical course (no pre-study) and includes CPR, defib (AED) and oxygen resuscitation training.

Prerequisite for this course is CPR or Provide First Aid. For courses in 2017, achievements will not appear via the USI scheme unless a USI is provided to the instructor. See www.usi.gov.au
Advanced Resuscitation Statements of Attainment are issued same day and are renewable annually.

Anaphylaxis 22300VIC

Our Anaphylaxis course is a 3-4hr practical course which covers the skills and knowledge in the 22300VIC – Course in first aid management of Anaphylaxis

A Statement of Attainment in 22099VIC – Course in First Aid Management of Anaphylaxis is issued same day and is renewable every 3 years.

Topics Include:
1. Respond to a severe allergic reaction
2. Provide appropriate first aid treatment for anaphylactic reaction
3. Communicate details of incident
4. Evaluate first aid response to anaphylactic reaction
5. Identify individuals at risk of allegic reactions
6. Develop individual anaphylaxis management plans
7. Implement strategies to prevent allergic and anaphylactic reactions
8. Develop a communication plan to raise awareness of allergic reactions and anaphylaxis

Low Voltage Rescue

This is a 2 hour course incorporating Low Voltage Rescue.
Each successful student receives our nationally accredited Statement of Attainment in UETTDRRF06B Perform rescue from a live LV panel (wallet sized card).
